Have you heard? Today is Giving Tuesday Now – an international day of giving inspired by the annual post-Thanksgiving Giving Tuesday fundraising day.
The COVID-19 crisis has created an urgent need for relief in places around the world, and Giving Tuesday is still 7 months away – so the organization behind Giving Tuesday has called for donors to participate in Giving Tuesday Now – today – to get funds into the hands of relief organizations right away.
EDF members recently blew us away by donating more than $77,000 to our Earth Day fundraising campaign. So, rather than ask you to donate to EDF again, we’re encouraging EDF members to support the groups who are helping people get through this crisis – from international relief organizations to local food banks and everything in between. The need is great, and any amount you can contribute will go a long way.
