Hey John, Rep. Lucy McBath here again. Y’all, tomorrow night is our final FEC fundraising deadline before Election Day. Republicans will be closely watching our fundraising totals as a measure of the strength of our re-election campaign, and a proxy for how energized Democrats are in Georgia to win in 2024. If we post a strong enough number, they may get discouraged and turn their attention to other vulnerable swing states in October. But if we post a lower than expected number and look weak, we may be in trouble. Millions in Republican dark money will flood into Georgia to try and buy my seat, and the seats of my fellow Democratic elected officials up and down the ballot. Please, I wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t critically important: Can you rush a $20 donation right now? Thanks for all your help at this final FEC quarterly deadline of the 2024 campaign.
