A message from Ruben Gallego
As I am sure you would have guessed, running against Kari Lake is not normal.
It is not normal at all to run against someone who denies and challenges the results of her past election, all while running in this one.
It is not normal to run against someone who will almost surely reject this election result if she loses in November.
It is not normal to run against someone for whom everything is a conspiracy.
Kari Lake is a menace to our democracy, but it is not just her anti-democratic tendencies that must be defeated.
We cannot elect someone who denies the existence of climate change.
We cannot elect someone who would vote for a federal ban on abortion.
We cannot elect someone who would vote for massive tax cuts for the wealthiest people and corporations in this country, leaving the working class behind.
But no one person can beat Kari Lake alone. Not me or anyone else. It will take a team. It always has. So I am asking:
