Friend --
It's giving Tuesday again and we're excited to share another amazing community organized COVID-19 response fund with you but first, I want to say thank you.
Last week, we asked for help supporting the Otsego County's COVID-19 Relief and Recovery Fund and you all came through when we needed you to.
We raised real dollars for a good cause that will directly aid workers, families, and vulnerable neighbors.
Thank you so much for proving we can all join together and be a force of good during this difficult time. We're hoping we can keep this momentum and help another community in need, namely, the Columbia County COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund.
Our friends and neighbors need our support, can you please pitch in $5 or more to help families in Columbia County?
The Columbia County COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund will send resources to local nonprofit organizations working with individuals and families who are disproportionately affected by the coronavirus and the economic consequences of this outbreak.
Here's how your support will help Columbia County:
- Provide access to food for children, youth and seniors
- Establish early child care systems (especially among health care professionals, first-responders, and lower-income) for residents who need to work during this time
- Mobilize volunteers to provide services and supports for our communities
- Fight for internet access for communities to ensure students can access online instruction
- Provide support for the homeless population
- Provide support for uninsured or undocumented individuals who need medical services
- Support for residents who're unable to pay rent due to job loss or cutback in hours
Many of us have felt unable to help during this difficult period, but these organizations are offering everyone an opportunity to help our communities remotely in a holistic way.
If you can, please chip in $5 or whatever you can afford to help the Columbia County Fund continue providing relief and support to our communities today.
Thank you for helping us support our communities.
