Hi -
We received this note we wanted to share with you:
"COVID-19 quarantine is getting really tough, but I thank God that all of this happened after I stepped out of the abusive relationship I was in. I think about all the people who are trapped, emotionally and physically, and how bad they must be feeling. I feel very lucky and blessed that I got out safely."
We’ve recently received so many notes like this one. And what’s clear is the more people we reach now with education resources and tools – the fewer people will find themselves in dangerous situations in the future.
In only the last few weeks, we’ve launched online education sessions, the Yards for Yeardley virtual MOVEment, and hosted A Day of Love to honor the 10th anniversary of the passing of Yeardley Love.
We have more plans in the works to reach and empower young people — but we need your support to continue providing free education resources to help them avoid abusive relationships.
Can you make a gift of $10? All gifts made today will be matched and go 2X as far for One Love.
This match—made possible by the generosity of an incredible donor—ends at midnight tonight. If you are in a place where you can give, your support will help us empower more people to see the signs of healthy and unhealthy love and find a way out of crisis.
Your support makes all the difference,
The team at One Love
