Throughout the COVID-19 Global Crisis, nonprofits around the country and the world are dealing with a major shock to their fundraising plans and goals. That uncertainty has put a great deal of strain on organizations' capacity and expectations. But right now, our communities need us more than ever- #GivingTuesdayNow is a campaign to help Nonprofits like Emgage continue to perform essential functions and respond to community needs during this unprecedented crisis.
At this very moment, the entire Emgage organization is working from home. In the most important election year of our lives, we're pushing forward to ensure that Muslims turn up at the polls this November, our community is staying on top of the 2020 Census, and Muslim voices are being heard throughout our national and state governments.
Muslim Organizations, in particular, are facing a steep climb. We rely on fundraising dinners and mosque-based ramadan fundraising, setting us apart from most other organizations. With major fundraising dinners, ramadan events, and our annual Muslim Capitol Day in Washington DC cancelled, we need your help now more than ever.
