The issues couldn’t be more clear - the constituents in Illinois’ 11th Congressional District are worried.  Seriously worried about how they are going to pay their bills each month.

Questions are being asked around the kitchen table late at night - “do we pay the car insurance this month or our health insurance premiums?” 

“What if our prescription drug copay continues to rise - do we pay for some of the drugs we need and not others?”  

“What if heating oil prices continue to rise and how do we pay to heat our home this winter?”

“Should we only go to the grocery store once every three weeks instead of weekly when prices continue to rise on daily essentials like butter, milk & eggs?"

These are all questions that are keeping the voters in our district up at night - both figuratively and literally.

THIS is why I am running for Congress, because I share the same worries. I know every politician says they know what it’s like to pay a mortgage and run a business.  But I actually do know what it's like to pay the mortgage every month and run a business to support my family.  We have the same worries as you, and my opponent, Bill Foster, is now talking about raising taxes!  He has had almost 15 years to step up and has done nothing for the 11th Congressional District.

I want to be your Congressman to get things done. I also know that I have the ability to reach across the aisle to work with Republicans and Democrats so that we can make our community a model.

But you know to get elected I need your support.  Many of you have donated to my campaign, knocked doors, made phone calls and have come out to our events, and I thank you.  But we have a critical fundraising deadline at midnight on September 30th and I need your help to make sure that all the voters get to see my message of hope and opportunity.

The maximum you can donate to my campaign is $3,300 per person/$6,660 per couple.  If you have not maxed out, I would humbly ask for your generous financial support and help us before the September 30th deadline.
