🎵 "Wake me up when September ends..." 🎵

Friend, it's Olivia, Sherrod's finance director. I've had this song stuck in my head, so I thought I'd shoot you a note since we're so close to our September FEC deadline.

Republicans are outspending us 3-to-1 and Sherrod is down 2 points in the polls, so we've set an ambitious goal to raise $3 million by tomorrow at midnight.

Believe it or not, my job is spreadsheets. Tracking how much money we're raising, how much we're spending, and most importantly, how much we need to win.

And let me tell you: $3 million is the magic number. I know it's a lot, but if there's anything my spreadsheets have taught me, it's that a whole lot of people chipping in $5 or $25 at a time, makes a big difference.

So I'm asking you, friend: Will you give $5 now to make sure we reach our goal before the FEC deadline and have the resources we need to reelect Sherrod?
