Our end-of-quarter fundraising deadline is rapidly approaching tomorrow at midnight. Before we ask for your grassroots support to reach our $30,000 goal, we want to share three actions Rob has recently taken to fight for the rights of Californians and people across the country:
- Filed a first-of-its-kind lawsuit against ExxonMobil to hold Big Oil accountable. for its role in the plastics pollution crisis and decades of public deception. We will not stand for greedy corporations putting profits over people and our planet.
- Stood with the state of Colorado in support of its law regulating ghost guns and preventing 3D printing of firearms. Gun violence is America's disease, uniquely so, and thoughts and prayers are not enough – states must be able to protect our communities.
- Joined a multistate amicus brief to support a Mississippi voting rights law designed to increase participation in our elections and combat Republicans’ attempts to disenfranchise voters. Our basic right to vote is crucial to the health of our democracy, especially in a critical election year like this.
And those are just a few highlights! Our Attorney General is giving everything he’s got to defend our freedoms, fight for justice, and hold bad actors accountable.
