I’m sure we all want to get back to watching football (whoever may be on your fantasy football team – 🦅Fly Eagles Fly) so I’ll keep it quick and cute. Here’s the state of play ➡️
- Democrats are currently on offense. Harris is in as quarterback, breaking through the GOP’s defense, and carrying our team toward the end zone.
- But the GOP has dark-money defenders waiting in the wings, ready to make a dirty play to steal our momentum.
- If we flinch or fumble, we’ll lose the ball, and the whole ball game.
Okay, you get it (this is what happens when Mad lets me write emails). But stick with me, because we need you on this team. Will you help us out?
This upcoming public-facing FEC filing is a potential injury the GOP’s defenders are waiting to inflict. And Pennsylvania is the five-star player — the weight of the game is on our shoulders. If we drop the ball, we lose this game for the entire country and for races up and down the ballot.
Except this isn’t a game; we don’t get to redeem ourselves the next week. If we lose, we’re inviting a convicted felon and his extremist agenda back into power for 4 years.
