We've always known our race for Pennsylvania's 8th District was going to be close. Politics PA listed it as the most vulnerable House race in all of Pennsylvania, and poll after poll shows Matt and his opponent are neck-and-neck.

But now, it's shaping up to be one of the most expensive, too.

Mike Johnson and D.C. Republicans have seen the latest polls, and they're pouring money into our district to help Matt's extreme opponent pull ahead. The Congressional Leadership Fund – the Mike Johnson-aligned super PAC – is spending nearly twice as much at this point in the race than it did in 2022.

From now until Election Day, outside groups will continue to flood our airwaves with attacks against Matt because they think this seat is theirs to win. We need to reach our end-of-quarter fundraising goal to ensure we have the resources to fight back. Will you rush a donation right away, of any amount you can, to help us reach our $50,000 FEC end-of-quarter goal? This is one of the last times our numbers will go public, and we can’t afford to come up short.
