TODAY: Support domestic workers with a special gift for #GivingTuesdayNow

John,

Today's a special day. It's #GivingTuesdayNow -- a global day of giving and unity, organized by communities and nonprofits around the world in response to the unprecedented need caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

I don't have to tell you that today, the need is immense.

And nowhere is it more immense than for the majority of in-home care workers, nannies, and house cleaners who are out of work, uncertain about how they'll pay for food, and worried about being evicted from their homes. These women -- and they are mostly women -- are intentionally excluded from key protections afforded to most workers, so for them, it's a daily struggle to get by in normal times. Now? It's impossible.

Now more than ever, we need to take care of one another...and that's what our work at NDWA is all about.

So please, spend #GivingTuesdayNow with us by making a special donation to NDWA and our work to support in-home care workers, nannies, and house cleaners in this time of overwhelming need.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately.

NDWA has sprung into action to support the workers who have been directly impacted by coronavirus: we've already rushed direct relief to thousands of women and families, and will be providing assistance to tens of thousands more.

We are committed to providing direct support, but we are ALSO working furiously to ensure the next relief package passed by Congress provides safety protections and financial security for domestic workers -- regardless of immigration status -- to help them get through this enormous hardship. And we need your support.

As resilient as our community is, the road ahead is going to be very, very hard. Your donation will be put right to work to help the National Domestic Workers Alliance support domestic workers during this terrifying pandemic.

Can you make a gift today to support NDWA as we fight for the people who care for us? On this special day of giving, I'd be so honored and thankful if you'd support our vital work with a donation.

Thank you so much, for everything you do.

Sincerely,

Ai-jen Poo, Executive Director
