When Chris announced he was running for re-election, we honestly weren’t sure what the response would be.

But he put his faith in this movement and hoped people would have his back once again.

Honestly, it was humbling. The outpouring of support meant a lot to Chris and to all of us. But we cannot afford to slow down now.

We know you’ve heard from us a few times recently. We hope you take it as a sign of just how important this FEC deadline is.

After tomorrow’s deadline, our campaign is required to file an official report showing how much we raised and how many people contributed to that effort. These reports are used as a proxy — not just for if Chris is taking this race seriously — but also to show the depth of support for our movement.

Both of those are important. People deserve to know that Chris is putting in the work to earn each vote. No one is entitled to your vote or a Senate seat.
