3D printing for a sustainable world - competition
What does sustainability mean to you? Efficiency? Recycling? A better way of living? We are partnering with I-Form on this competition where they are inviting you to draw and describe your idea. STEAM School sold out!
The NYCI Arts and STEAM in Youth Work programmes look forward to working with 30 youth workers, youth arts practitioners and volunteers from around the country in September at STEAM School and supporting them to develop STEAM in Youth Work grant applications. If you’ve missed the chance to join us, you can contact [email protected] to join the waiting list or keep an eye on youth.ie for further STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Maths) activities in 2019.

Ireland’s LGBTI+ youth organisation, BeLonG To have launched Ireland’s largest School Survey to capture the experiences of LGBTI+ second-level students. Help them spread the word and share the survey with LGBTI+ young people in your Youth Service, www.belongto.org/survey

The Wavelength Project
Gaisce – The President’s Award is inviting expressions of interest from organisations working with 18-25 year olds who are seeking asylum, have refugee status or have been resettled into new communities around Ireland to take part in Wavelength - an opportunity for young people to achieve a Gaisce Award. Wexford LGBT+ group

Summer Series: ‘Supporting Student Striking – the role of Development Education’
This training workshop is aimed at Development Education practitioners interested in exploring their practice in relation to student strikes for climate change. Can you spot fake news?
Fill in this survey to help researchers develop new tools for identifying false stories. This survey was created by Dublin City University and Graz University of Technology to find out what factors influence people's ability to identify false stories. As part of the EU funded Provenance project, the results will inform the development of new tools to help people evaluate online content.
Youth Arts Facilitator Tender 2019 - Offaly
Offaly County Council have extended the deadline for the Youth Arts Facilitator tender, see details including a revised briefing document with new deadline for submissions to be delivered by 3p.m. on 11th Sept 2019.
NUI Certificate in Digital Creativity in Youth Settings (Level 8) - Application Now Open
The certificate is a special purpose award designed for youth workers and educators who wish to develop a specialism, or advance their competence, in the emerging field of digital creativity and STEAM in youth settings. Nurturing Change-Makers, Imagining a Better World
Applications open for Creativity & Change Accredited Course! This accredited Special Purpose Award programme targets educators, change-makers, activists, artists, community workers, adult educators, youth workers, volunteers, and anyone who is interested how creative engagement can nurture global citizenship and empathic action around local and global justice themes. €3.2m fund open - Social Innovation Fund Ireland
The Arts to Impact fund has reopened and will close for applications in January 22nd 2020. This is a great opportunity for organisations using arts and culture to deliver impact. This is a €3.2m fund for innovative projects within the arts sector. The fund details can be found here.
