A new report shows that already this election cycle, 150 billionaire families have spent an eye-popping $1.4 billion in 2024’s elections, drowning out the voices of everyday people and propping up the unjust status quo.

Most of that money is going to elect right-wing candidates who will cut taxes for the wealthy while attacking the rights of everyday people. But AIPAC’s billionaire donors spent over $100 million to take down progressives in Democratic primaries―including defeating pro-Palestine Reps. Jamaal Bowman and Cori Bush.

Over the next five weeks before Election Day, we need to defend anti-genocide candidates across the country and work to keep swing states like Michigan blue―including making sure Donald Trump never gets close to the White House again.

Ballots are mailing to Michigan voters right now, which means that every day is Election Day between now and November 5th.

Tomorrow, September 30th, represents a critical end-of-quarter fundraising deadline before the election. After tomorrow we’ll report to the Federal Election Commission how much money we’ve raised and spent, and how much cash on hand we’ll have for the fight ahead.
