I hope you are doing well today.

I wanted to quickly touch base with you today to see if you can help out with something. 

As you may know, in the face of COVID-19, today has been marked as a global day of giving to help non-profits recover from financial distress. 

To be honest, our team has been so slammed with all of the work we are doing for the Recovery Agenda and developing policies to get Texas back on her feet again that we have not had any extra capacity to take on launching a full-blown fundraising campaign today as so many others are doing.

However, we still wanted to find a unique way we could participate and so we have set an internal goal as a team to use this 24-hour period to make an additional effort to find 10 new members for the Come and Take It Society. 

I thought I would email you to see if you are interested in joining today. The Come and Take It Society is a dedicated group of resilient fighters who have committed to making a monthly donation to stand with us as we advance policies that promote and preserve liberty in Texas—whether it be lowering taxes, reducing energy regulation and keeping “green new deal” style policies out of Texas, or improving education and healthcare.
