John, we’re up early this morning because our critical end-of-quarter fundraising deadline is just one day away, and we wanted to share a few important updates with you as soon as we could.

First, the polling data shows Jon Tester and his out-of-state, out-of-touch Republican opponent completely deadlocked. This election could be Jon Tester's closest race yet, coming down to just a handful of votes.

Second, we still have a ways to go to reach our end-of-quarter fundraising goal before tomorrow’s deadline. A strong fundraising showing will prove to Republicans just how committed this grassroots coalition is to winning — but a weak showing will embolden Republicans to spend even more against Jon Tester and Democrats across the state.

Finally, it was reported that Jon Tester’s race is expected to be the most expensive Senate race in history on a per vote basis. In fact, video ad spending has already surpassed the record spending we saw in Montana’s 2020 Senate race! If we want any hope of winning against the GOP’s horde of special interest donors, we need to hit our fundraising goals and fight back ASAP.
