I’m sorry, but this email is not announcing a new Star Wars movie. It’s about something much more serious: our Democracy.

This November, we have the opportunity to elect a woman who will bring grace and joy to the White House. We have a shot at ousting the MAGA majority in Congress. And, we have a chance to get rid of Trump for good (did you see he said he’d leave the country if he loses?! November 5th really can’t come soon enough).

But to flip the House this November and get Kamala Harris the team she needs in Congress, we need to go all in supporting the right candidates.

I’m here to tell you that Michelle Vallejo is the right candidate. She’s a daughter of immigrants, a small business owner, and a fierce community advocate. In Congress, she’ll fight to expand voting rights, pass common-sense gun laws, and finally secure a national law protecting abortion access.

But Michelle’s race is rated one of the most competitive in the country. Michelle is in a TOSS-UP election against Trump’s MAGA devotee in South Texas who is so extreme she enthusiastically supported a six-week abortion ban!

Friends, I have a bad feeling about this: if we don’t get Michelle Vallejo the support she needs to win this race so Democrats can flip the House, our Democracy and our nation’s future will suffer.

But, if we act now, we can take back the House, elect Kamala Harris, and end this harrowing National Orange Nightmare for good!

Let’s get it done.
