These emergencies can feel insurmountable, but our individual actions are making a profound impact for our patients—one bandage, one suture, and one donation at a time. Our teams have seen first-hand what happens when we act together and when we refuse to turn away from emergencies.
With your support, last week on September 18, we opened a new field hospital in Deir Al Balah in Gaza, where 19 out of 26 hospitals are currently non-functional. Our teams immediately began providing outpatients consultations. Within the first two hours of opening, around 180 patients were received.
We’re able to provide this lifesaving care because our dedicated movement of supporters don’t turn away when patients are in need. Thank you for being a part of this global movement.
Sincerely,
Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières USA
P.S. While our match campaign is over, there’s still time to make a gift to help us continue providing lifesaving medical humanitarian aid in the most challenging situations. Make a generous donation today.
