### **Israel Gets Closer to Boots on the Ground in Lebanon**
Hezbollah launched a missile targeting Tel Aviv, marking one of its deepest strikes into Israeli territory, in response to what it describes as Israeli aggression, specifically blaming Israel for the assassination of its commanders and an attack involving explosives in pagers and walkie-talkies.
The missile, identified as a Qader 1 ballistic missile, was intercepted by Israeli defenses, preventing casualties or significant damage, although it set off air raid sirens across central Israel. This escalation follows intense Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon, which, according to Lebanese reports, resulted in hundreds of casualties amidst fears of a broader regional conflict.
