In the past few weeks, we have shared a deluge of resources. Today’s newsletter includes a summary of all the PIF resources available to support your COVID-19 outreach and advocacy efforts. We also have a registration link for our State Policy webinar coming up next week and information about a new funding opportunity from the Office of Minority Health.


** PIF COVID-19 Resource Round-Up

* Quick Reference Guide ([link removed]) on Immigrant Eligibility for Public Programs During COVID-19 (Also available in Spanish ([link removed]) ). Provides a general overview of some of the federal public programs available to support individuals and families during the COVID-19 crisis under existing law, as well as recently passed legislative packages in response to the pandemic.
* COVID-19 Relief Legislation FAQ Document ([link removed]) . Includes 1) answers to some frequently asked questions about public charge implications for families who are seeking public programs during the COVID-19 crisis. and 2) answers to questions about immigrant eligibility for programs under new and existing policies.
* Take Action Page ([link removed]) . An easy way to connect with your Members of Congress and ask for a COVID relief package that ensures the health and well-being of immigrant families.
* Social Media Toolkit ([link removed]) . Includes sample Twitter and Facebook posts to let your friends, family, and colleagues know that they can help #ProtectFamilies by using our tool to ask Congress to deliver an inclusive stimulus bill.
* Research Summary ([link removed]) . Highlights noteworthy research, updated since the start of the COVID-19 crisis, on how the public charge changes have negatively affected immigrant families’ health, emotional well-being and economic stability.
* COVID-19 Talking Points for Immigrant Families ([link removed]) . This document is intended for service providers who work with immigrant families.


** State Policy Webinar

Next Tuesday, May 12 at 1pm ET / 10am PT, join the PIF Campaign for a webinar on State Policy Options for an Immigrant-Inclusive COVID-19 Response. Experts from NILC, CLASP, NHeLP and FRAC will provide an overview of policy options that states can use to include the immigrant community in their COVID-19 relief. Learn about emergency Medicaid coverage of COVID-19 testing and treatment and Pandemic-EBT food support, with a deep dive into their public charge implications. You can also hear about other policy options that activists are pushing around the country to better include immigrant residents in their cities and states. Click here to register now. ** New Funding Opportunity
------------------------------------------------------------

The Office of Minority Health (OMH) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has released a new funding opportunity announcement. The initiative seeks to develop and coordinate a strategic and structured national network of organizations that will mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on racial and ethnic minority, rural and socially vulnerable populations. Applications are due by May 11. More information is available on the OMH website ([link removed]) .
