I'm going to be upfront, at the end of this email, I am going to ask you to make a donation to my campaign.

Now, I would bet you a pretty penny that you didn't wake up this morning and think, "today is the day I am going to make a donation to Mark Kelly." I get that.

All I am asking is for 30 seconds of your time to convince you that a donation would mean a lot to Democrats’ chances this November.

Here is the truth: In two consecutive campaigns, we did very well in Arizona. We won in a presidential year and we defied the odds and won in a midterm as well.

This time, I am working hard to campaign across Arizona to defeat Kari Lake and to make sure Kamala Harris takes this must-win state.

But I am not stopping there. I’ve been out across the country ever since I got re-elected doing the same work. I can reach a lot of independent voters in swing states, and states with close Senate campaigns where Democrats need to win. And, frankly, I've been asked to do a lot of campaigning this fall.

All of that — everything I just wrote about — takes resources. It's not free, believe it or not.
