Hello, John --

It's Ken Burns. For nearly 50 years I've shared America's story through
documentaries. In that time, I've chronicled some of our nation's great
challenges, from wars and depression to conflict at home, but also many
of our glories, our effort to preserve world peace, to fight for
democracy, to address issues like poverty and inequality and of course
our support for art and culture.

History often seems to be one inflection point after another. That’s
because we are a country that has always been in the process of
becoming, working to find what's best in our past to create a better
future. We're at a critical moment now.

With the election just 38 days away, we've reached one of our greatest
inflection points,

will determine our path for years to come.

We have the power to secure our Senate majority and our country's
future, or lose it and turn our backs on all the progress we've made.
