Adam Schiff for Senate

Hi John — It’s Lexi, Adam’s daughter.

While you might think of him as Congressman, Representative, or just Adam — to me, he’s just Dad. While you might watch my dad on the news or see a clip of him in a House Committee, I know him from sitting at the dining table, watching movies together, or discussing the day’s events.

Here’s the thing, John: after all these years, he hasn’t changed.

Not after he was elected to Congress.

Not after managing Trump’s impeachment, being kicked off his committee, or being censured by MAGA House Republicans for standing up to Trump.

Not after running in an incredibly competitive primary election for Senate and taking on a celebrity GOP opponent in the general election.

He’s the same guy he’s always been, having the same types of conversations about our democracy, our ideals, and our values that we’ve had around the dinner table for the last 20 years.

Running for office is a big task. But it's always been clear to me why my dad does it. He wants to make a difference in our country and make the world a better place to live in.

My dad’s team sends these emails (and texts) because his campaign really is grassroots-funded. With his FEC deadline on Monday, I would appreciate it if you could make a contribution to my dad’s campaign before midnight. Can you chip in?

Whether you’ve known my dad as long as I have (or maybe even longer!) or if you’re new to the team, you know what a great guy he is. I can’t wait to see him serving the people of California from the U.S. Senate — because I know he’ll make a difference for so many people.

Thanks for reading this note. Love ya, Dad!

Lexi
