We’re on the brink of ecological disaster, but Trump is sticking his head in the sand. He’s doing the bidding of Big Polluters -- gutting critical protections for our public lands, our climate, our air and water, and species we rely on like bees and butterflies.
To make matters worse, he’s trying to taking advantage of the coronavirus pandemic to push these rollbacks. So we’re working round-the-clock to ensure Trump doesn’t exploit this crisis to give handouts and bailouts to corporate polluters. - Stopping Republicans from giving any direct aid to the oil industry in the last coronavirus stimulus package, and stopping the cruise industry from being eligible for any bailout. This is thanks to tireless grassroots pressure from activists like you!
- Working with progressive champions in Congress to set the stage for strong environmental action, despite the GOP’s attempts to stall our progress. For example, this year the House and Senate introduced a nationwide fracking ban! Blocking and delaying dirty energy projects and keeping fossil fuels in the ground -- including the Jordan Cove fossil fuel export terminal, the Williams Pipeline, and the Atlantic Coast Pipeline.
- Banning brain-damaging pesticides, including banning chlorpyrifos in New York and California.
- Ousting Trump’s corrupt nominees: Together we kicked Scott Pruitt out of the EPA and Ryan Zinke out of the Department of the Interior.
- Convincing huge retailers and manufacturers to stop stocking or producing products that contain bee-killing neonicotinoids. After successfully transforming over 75% of the garden industry, we’re pushing supermarkets to shift away from food grown with toxic pesticides.
- Successfully pressuring banks and investment firms to stop funding deforestation and fossil fuel extraction, holding them accountable for profiting from destruction.
- Exposing corruption and dangerous policies with hard-hitting, well-researched analysis that shifts the media narrative and gets results.
- Partnering with frontline communities across the country, building long-term political power for a healthy, just, sustainable world.
- Fundamentally transforming our economic and political systems, including reforming our democracy to ensure more politicians are accountable to the people rather than polluters.

Trump is trying to turn our country into the United States of Big Oil and Big Ag. He’s responding to the COVID-19 crisis by rushing to the aid of corporations and polluters. This exacerbates the climate crisis and leaves everyday people and our planet behind. If we don’t fight hard, we’ll emerge from the crisis on a path to more pollution, wider inequality, a weaker democracy, and greater corporate concentration of power.
