Hurricane Helene has recently caused devastation across much of the South, from Florida and North Carolina to Tennessee.
The images we see of the wreckage caused by widespread flash flooding, mudslides, and damaging wind in the hurricane's wake are heartbreaking. Entire towns have been destroyed. People's homes washed away. Lives have been lost.
As an active member of the American Red Cross for over 38 years, I know firsthand that we can all make an impact and lend a hand to those who may have lost everything .
