It's simple, John:
When Congress looks more like the people it’s supposed to represent, it
does a better job of serving the entire country’s needs. While we've made
some progress, we all know we still have a long way to go before Congress
truly reflects the diversity in our country.

to help elect a Congress that reflects all of America.
Think about it:
* How can we expect Congress to make effective tax and housing policies
for single working class parents if almost none of our representatives
know what it’s like to be one?
* How can we expect them to prioritize making childcare more affordable
if so few of our representatives have ever had to worry about how
they’re going to pay for their own children’s care?
* How can we expect them to feel the urgency behind the need for
universal healthcare if barely any of them have ever gone without
health insurance or struggled to pay for their prescriptions?
Electing a Congress that looks like America isn’t just some DEI vanity
project like the right would like you to believe. It’s about ensuring the
broad range of experiences in our country are reflected inside the body so
that it will produce the most effective policy possible.
