John, before I ask you to support my reelection campaign, I want to give you an idea of why the stakes are so high in my race:

It's no secret that this election cycle is a historic one, but not all for the right reasons. In 2024 especially, ultra-wealthy conservative groups have poured resources into unseating progressive voices across the country.

FIRST: We saw these same groups pour millions into Jamaal Bowman's race in New York, where AIPAC's $17+ million in spending made his race the most expensive House primary in history.

THEN: Their success in New York didn't stop them from targeting Cori Bush in Missouri — where the $8 million spent to unseat her made it the second most expensive House primary in history.

NOW: Because of my commitment to fighting for 1️⃣ a permanent ceasefire, 2️⃣ our right to reproductive freedom, and 3️⃣ comprehensive immigration reform, my team and I have no doubt that these same groups are targeting my race right here in Illinois.

John, this doesn't discourage me from continuing to fight for what's right. In fact, it only strengthens my resolve to fight against the corrupting influence of big money in our politics.

But because I have never and will never accept donations from corporate PACs, defending my seat from these right-wing, ultra-wealthy groups is going to take deliberate action from folks like you. We need to ramp up my campaign's outreach efforts and ensure that voters know about my people-first vision for the future.

Congresswoman Delia Ramirez

Delia Ramirez has dedicated her life and career to public service and advocating for working families. She is a deeply rooted community leader and public servant whose values are informed by her upbringing as the daughter of Guatemalan immigrants.

In 2022, Delia was elected to represent Illinois’ 3rd Congressional District and became the first Latina Congresswoman in the Midwest. In just a few months in Congress, she has introduced legislation with bipartisan support to help student veterans, is co-leading the Dream and Promise Act, and is introducing legislation that gives tenants the right to organize. Delia also serves as Co-Chair of the Strengthening Democracy Task Force, as well as Vice Chair of the Equal Rights Amendment Caucus. She is a fighter who is determined to deliver for her constituents, and is working everyday to achieve equitable distribution of resources for Illinois infrastructure, clean energy, transportation, housing, healthcare, and jobs. She also advocates for federal resources so that Illinois may continue to be a welcoming state for new arrivals and asylum seekers.
