Friend — thanks to support from LCV members like you, LCV Victory Fund is making huge progress as we scale up our largest-ever voter turnout operation, which will ultimately reach more than one million voters this fall.

In the past two weeks, LCV Victory Fund has doubled our voter contacts — that means we’ve already knocked on nearly 1 million doors in the states and districts that will decide control of the White House and Congress next year. 

Here’s where our campaign stands with just weeks to go until Election Day:

• Nearly 1 million doors knocked across 11 states: Arizona, California, Michigan, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
• Over 22,000 supporters have committed to recruit three friends to vote in November, tripling the impact of our canvass on Election Day.
• 71% of contacted voters have committed to support Kamala Harris for president.

This work is making a difference. Here are just a few anecdotes shared by canvassers in the field, who have been having meaningful, face-to-face conversations with voters across the country:

• In Bozeman, Montana our state affiliate spoke with a Republican voter who said that they plan to vote for Senator Jon Tester, in part because of his track record of fighting for issues important to Montanans, such as access to public lands.
• In Madison, Wisconsin we spoke to a voter who cited fighting climate change as the motivation for his vote. He believes that the Biden-Harris administration has done a lot on this issue, but that supporting Harris-Walz and Senator Tammy Baldwin is necessary to ensure that these gains are maintained and expanded.
• In Lathrup Village, Michigan we met with a voter who spoke passionately about Harris’s dedication to justice and equity, as well as Representative (and Senate candidate) Elissa Slotkin’s effective, hands-on approach to problem-solving. They committed to vote in November and to bring three other people to the polls.

After months of planning, we’re now in a sprint to the finish to elect Kamala Harris to the White House and secure pro-environment, pro-democracy leadership in Congress. We still have a lot of work to do — but stories like this give me hope that we are on the path to victory, thanks to your support.
