John,

All summer on the campaign trail, I hear folks are onboard with sending a fresh perspective to Sacramento – one that’s centered on the lived experiences of Californians and welcomes strict accountability for delivering results.

And while we’ve made good progress toward our goal, we still need some help to keep our momentum through the Fall.

Monday at midnight marks a critical fundraising deadline for our campaign, and we're hoping to see a large number of donations come in to meet our target. Can you chip in $3 -- or whatever amount you can -- to power our movement? The amount you give is not nearly as important as the number of people contributing.

The 2026 gubernatorial election may seem far off, but it’s really not when you consider how much work needs to be done in a state as large as California.

We’ve set out to do things a bit differently. Our goal is to engage over communities throughout the state with our vision. And we’re going to do it years ahead instead of just months before election day like a typical campaign might.

Call me old-fashioned, but I believe strongly in the need to communicate with everyone around the big issues we’re facing -- in every corner of this state and as early as possible. That's where you come in, John:

Our next major deadline is just days away, and I could use your support to ensure we hit our goal to win this race. If you’re able, please chip in $3 today.

Thank you,

Betty
