John: Here at Team Stelson HQ, we’re racing against the clock to raise $75k for Janelle Stelson’s bid for Congress before Monday at midnight. And the fact of the matter is, we’re behind where we should be right now. We’re a little stressed!

But we’ll be real with you for a second: We know you’re getting a lot of emails asking for money this week from a lot of different candidates and politicians. So we wanted to take just a minute to explain why this deadline actually matters.

So what are the stakes?
In one of the reports released by the January 6th Committee, Perry’s name was mentioned twenty-two times. He’s spent the last two years dodging subpoenas for his involvement in the insurrection, AND he even had his phone confiscated by the FBI. He’s also in favor of a national abortion ban! Scott Perry is a slimy politician, and PA-10 deserves better. Period.

Why does this deadline matter?
This deadline is a big deal because it’s the LAST big deadline before Election Day. It’s a big deal because this deadline is what we call an FEC deadline. That means that after Monday at midnight, the amount of money we raised will go PUBLIC, and if national Republican and dark money groups think Janelle looks vulnerable, they’re going to give Scott Perry even more of their dirty dollars! We can’t let that happen.
