We’ve always known that Arizona would be one of the closest states in the country. But as Trump started to see Arizona as absolutely essential to his chances at retaking the White House, the entire GOP has reoriented their strategy around this state.

The establishment is throwing high dollar fundraisers. Outside groups are dropping millions of dollars in advertising. Trump’s spending a lot more time here. It’s a full court press — infrastructure, organizing, strategists, advisors, polls, advertising. You name it. She’s got it.

We’re starting to see that manifest now. Trump leading handily, Kari Lake gaining on Ruben after months with a safe lead. Make no mistake about it — if Donald Trump wins by the margins he’s currently polling at in Arizona, he will pull Kari Lake along with him.
