John,
This week, Trump told supporters in Pennsylvania that he would appoint a “manufacturing ambassador” to convince major manufacturers to move production to the U.S.
What Trump is offering is, to use his words, a “concept of a plan.” He’s not providing any actionable policy.
Democrats are actually delivering. The Biden-Harris administration has created millions of new manufacturing jobs through legislation, including the Inflation Reduction Act, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, and the CHIPS and Science Act. They’ve invested in better, cleaner manufacturing while improving the lives of countless working- and middle-class Americans.
Will you rush a contribution to my campaign right now so I can continue to make the case for why Democrats are better for the economy? |
And this is just the beginning. Vice President Harris has made restoring the United States as a manufacturing superpower a top economic priority. That includes rebuilding our country’s steel manufacturing industry with the endorsement of the United Steelworkers union. I look forward to working with her to make the Steel Modernization Act law and to bring cleaner, better steel manufacturing back to U.S. soil. |
