Since Texas enacted some of the most restrictive abortion bans in the country, maternal deaths have skyrocketed by over 56%. We’ve seen this dangerous trend in states across the country placing restrictions on reproductive rights, including the right to an abortion.

While abortion remains legal here in Maryland, it’s not a protected right. This November, we can change that by passing the Reproductive Rights Amendment and safeguarding reproductive freedom for generations to come.
