Dear Friend,
I hope that you and your loved ones are staying healthy and safe during this difficult time. The COVID-19 pandemic has created challenges for all of us, and we want to update you on some of what we have been doing to reduce the impact and ask for your continued help in the fight.
As several of my colleagues have shared with you over the past weeks, the Clinton Foundation’s mission of “putting people first” has grown in the face of this crisis and we’ve quickly expanded our work to aid those affected by COVID-19.
This fight is a long one and we need your help. No gift is too small. If you are in a position to contribute, please give what you can today.
Your generosity will help us better serve communities across the country. Together, we are:
-
Serving hundreds of thousands of meals to families in need: Staff and volunteers at the Clinton Presidential Center continue to roll up their sleeves to help the most vulnerable have reliable access to food. Alongside World Central Kitchen, the City of Little Rock, and other local partners, we have now served more than 200,000 meals to those in need across Central Arkansas.
-
Supporting parents and caregivers: Through Too Small to Fail and the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, we’re providing resources to parents, caregivers, and educators coping with the new realities presented by COVID-19.
-
Inspiring leadership and catalyzing solutions: President Clinton and Chelsea issued a call to more than 10,000 young leaders through the Clinton Global Initiative University and launched the COVID-19 Student Action Fund to support student innovators as they address the pandemic in their communities.
Please consider a donation to the Clinton Foundation to help us continue this crucial work.
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact all of our lives, thank you for all that you’re doing to take care of yourself, your family, and your community, and to stay connected with friends and neighbors — we will get through this together.
With best wishes,
Kevin Thurm
