We received numerous contacts from Walmart employees concerned that a new scheduling policy appeared to no longer allow religious accommodations for its employees to attend church. We quickly sent a letter to Walmart's corporate counsel asking for religious accommodations for our clients. Thankfully, Walmart responded swiftly and worked with us to ensure that its policy would, in fact, provide religious accommodations for its employees under the law.
