Kamala Harris made her first trip to the border in three years. This was purely a political stunt, and I’m sure she’ll give her usually empty platitudes and empty promises without acknowledging the sheer scale of the damage her failed border policies have created for Arizonans and all Americans. Arizonans are seeing this crisis with our own eyes. We are on the front lines of the border invasion, but apparently, our “Border Czar” cares more about playing politics than solving the problem. Probably because she and her boss are the ones who created the problem in the first place. This is what happened just last year on our Southern Border. Border encounters are up over 40% since 2021 when VP Harris took office. Over 250,000 illegal encounters in December alone, an all-time record. Enough fentanyl entered our country to kill 6 billion people, the entire population of the United States 12 times over. At least 169 people on the terrorism and 598 known gang members, many of them part of MS-13, entered the country illegally. Cities have been overwhelmed. Schools closed, lives disrupted, to house illegal immigrants, all while American veterans go homeless and the American people suffer with record-breaking inflation. Kamala Harris has failed the American people, plain and simple. We need to build the wall, reinstate Remain in Mexico, and start deporting illegals instead of welcoming them with open arms. The only way to do this is by electing President Trump and an America First Senate in November.
