Hi — Tammy
Baldwin here. I know it’s getting late on a Friday, so I’ll get right to
it.

I just got off the phone with my campaign manager, who let me know that
we’ve seen a major dip in grassroots donations today. With folks logging
off for the weekend, we’re worried we could fall short of our
end-of-quarter fundraising goal.

Now, I’m not going to be alarmist or tell you that the sky is falling
because we’re falling behind. All is not lost if we come up short.

But the truth is, the goals we set really do matter in a race as expensive
as ours — and missing them will have consequences.

As the polls tighten in this toss up race, we may be forced to pull down
our ads or halt new reservations that allow us to get our message in front
of voters in the final weeks of this election.

I’m hoping that we won’t have to make any of these difficult decisions,
and that we can keep our foot on the gas in our fight to defend this
Senate seat from my self-funding opponent. But to do that, I’ll need your
help.
