Hello, Friends —
On Wednesday, House leadership brought yet another continuing resolution (CR) to the floor of the House of Representatives. I voted against this bad legislation, which funds the federal government at current levels through December 20, 2024, and passed 341-82.
This CR is particularly reckless because it sets Congress up for another manufactured shutdown crisis the week before Christmas, which increases the likelihood of another massive omnibus bill that appropriates money for every agency and increases deficit spending even further. Leadership will have the Christmas holiday as leverage to get unprincipled members to vote for anything so that they can get home to be with their families. We have seen this tactic used before by leadership from both sides of the aisle, and it always results in the American people left holding the bag.
Congress should not take one up or down vote to fund the entirety of the United States government. The crazy thing is that the House has proved that it can pass single-subject spending bills by passing five of the 12 appropriations bills earlier this year. However, we abandoned our efforts to pass the remaining seven bills, opting instead for this lazy, misguided CR. I will continue to demand that the House change the way it operates by returning to voting for single-subject spending bills.

REP. GAETZ ACCEPTS INVITATION FROM REP. AMI BERA TO BRIEF HOUSE INTEL COMMITTEE ON ASSASSINATION TEAMS TARGETING PRESIDENT TRUMP
On Thursday, I accepted Rep. Ami Bera’s invitation to brief his office and the House Intelligence Committee on where and how I learned about the five assassination teams currently targeting President Trump from within the U.S.
Immediately after I broke the news that five hit teams, including Iranians, were targeting President Trump, the Biden-Harris administration was forced to brief the Trump campaign about one of those threats. These threats are absolutely real and need to be taken seriously.
Nevertheless, Democratic lies persist, and Rep. Bera, who sits on the Intel Committee, called my stating of the facts “dangerous.” I think it’s more “dangerous” that House Intel members don’t know or don’t care what intel is out there about assassins targeting President Trump!

STOP FUNDING THE WEAPONIZED JUSTICE DEPARTMENT

During a Weaponization of the Federal Government Subcommittee hearing on Wednesday, I had the opportunity to question the Department of Justice (DOJ) Inspector General Michael Horowitz and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) whistleblower Marcus Allen about how the FBI has unlawfully persecuted and punished those who hold political views contrary to those held by the agency’s leadership.
The DOJ and FBI are attacking whistleblowers, and what does Congress do? We write the check and underwrite the debt for the weaponization of the DOJ! Maybe the most recent continuing resolution should have included that the FBI Director and Attorney General will not get their paychecks until whistleblowers get their back pay.
REP. GAETZ APPEARS ON THE BENNY SHOW
On Monday, I had the opportunity to speak with Benny Johnson on The Benny Show about ongoing foreign interference within our country. As a member of the House Armed Services Committee, I received a briefing from U.S. intelligence officials who confirmed that he and Tim Pool, the host of Timcast IRL, were unknowing targets of a Russian malign influence campaign. They weren’t involved or solicitous—they were victims of an election-interference effort. Those of us who get to see the actual intel and evidence need to come forward and say that Tim Pool and Benny Johnson have been unfairly smeared!
Moreover, it isn’t just Russia that is involving itself in our domestic affairs. Over the past week, I exposed five known teams hunting President Trump—one of which was Ukrainian. This foreign interference isn’t just affecting our media and elections but is now threatening the lives of our presidential candidates.
While on the show, I also discussed how Customs and Border Protection had the wherewithal to question the second would-be Trump assassin and put him on their radar, yet Homeland Security Investigations took no action when they learned about him.

IRAN IS THE BIGGEST THREAT TO PRESIDENT TRUMP!

On Tuesday night, I appeared on Greg Kelly Reports on Newsmax to discuss the threat posed by Iran against the life of President Trump. Of all the threats currently facing the President, the threat funded by the Iranian government is far and away the most resourced and worrisome.
Why does Iran want to take out Trump? The answer is simple—they know that under a potential President Kamala Harris, they will be able to run roughshod over the world.

Weaponization Probes Vindicated FBI Whistleblower, Stalled Jan. 6 Report
“‘Such problems should have consequences, Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., said, arguing that Congress should use the appropriations process to force reforms in the FBI and Justice Department, its parent agency, including whistleblower protections. ‘The process was the punishment and it was the point,’ Gaetz said to Allen, the former FBI whistleblower.”
