As November 5th approaches, we are drawing closer to a potential historic milestone in Washington State History: a female majority in the State Senate.
Women in Washington have been on the front lines of progress for decades, inspiring change and championing equal rights. This election, we have an incredible opportunity to make history by electing a record number of women to the state legislature.
From Janet St. Clair in Northwest Washington and Maria Beltran in Central Washington to Marla Keethler in Southwest Washington, the Democratic women running this year are bold leaders fighting to lower costs for families, to keep our kids safe and learning in schools, and to protect our most fundamental freedoms.
Electing just three more women will give us parity in the WA State Senate - electing four would give us a female majority.
