Bringing Hope After Helene
Hurricane Helene is being called unprecedented.
Most of the Southeast has been battered by the deadly Category 4 hurricane that made landfall late Thursday night in the Florida panhandle. When it came ashore, Helene was nearly the size of Texas.
So far, at least 40 deaths have been reported in Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas. Millions across the Southeast are without power, with catastrophic flooding in many states.
Will you pray for everyone who is dealing with Helene’s aftermath?
The Billy Graham Rapid Response Team is assessing some of the hardest hit areas and will be deploying in multiple states over the coming days.
Our crisis-trained chaplains will provide emotional and spiritual care to those impacted by this storm, reminding them that they are not alone: “I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you” (Isaiah 41:10, NKJV).
May God bless you,
The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association
P.S. If you would like to share the hope of Christ with people suffering in the coming weeks, you can make a secure gift here. |
