Hey my friend, it’s Ruben. Things are about to get a little crazy here, but stick with me. Please.

Over the next three days we’re going to head into our final FEC fundraising drive of the campaign. This is our last quarterly FEC deadline. It’s our most important one, and it comes at a really, really tough time.

I owe it to you to be completely honest right now: We’ve got to push incredibly hard to reach our goals between now and Monday. I’m writing in part to apologize in advance for how much we’re going to be reaching out over the next three days.

But I’m also writing to remind you that there’s a reason we’re doing it. It’s not to annoy you or stress you out. It’s because emails like this, texts, digital ads — these are the biggest columns in our budget. Donations from folks like you are the main way we fund this campaign.

If I could win this race without sending a single email, I’d do it. But I can tell you with 100% certainty that if we don’t email… we won’t raise what we need. We won’t be able to reach the voters we have to turn out. We’d be setting ourselves up to hand this seat over to Kari Lake.

I can’t let that happen, and I think you agree with me there.

You are a critical part of this team. And with that apology, with this explanation, I hope you understand how important you really are to all of this.
