Robert Roberson with his daughter Nikki

Dear John,

We are outraged by the killing of Marcellus "Khaliifah" Williams by the state of Missouri — and in just three weeks, another innocent man could face the same fate unless we act now.

Robert Roberson has spent over 20 years on death row for a crime that never occurred. And yet, he's scheduled to be executed on Oct. 17.

Call Gov. Abbott now and urge him to grant Robert clemency before it’s too late.

Robert, whom Texas is set to execute on Oct. 17 was convicted on the basis of the now debunked shaken baby syndrome hypothesis. But numerous scientists and doctors — and even the lead detective who testified against Robert — now agree the hypothesis used to convict Robert has been discredited by evidence-based science.

There is overwhelming medical and scientific evidence that shows Robert’s 2-year-old daughter Nikki died of accidental and natural causes — and now, a bipartisan majority of the Texas House is urging Gov. Greg Abbott to grant Robert clemency, just weeks out from his execution date.

“It should shock all Texans that we are barreling towards an execution in the face of this new evidence.”
— Texas lawmakers in a letter to the Board of Pardons and Paroles.

Robert’s future lies in the hands of Gov. Abbott and the courts. So now more than ever, we must urge him to make the right decision and save an innocent man from being executed.

With only days until Robert’s execution date, will you call Gov. Abbott at 361-320-8100 to stop Texas from making an irreversible mistake?
