I’m reaching out because we’ve just had a major setback right before the official FEC deadline – our most important fundraising deadline of the year – and I’m really hoping you can help me turn things around, friend.
For context, Larry Hogan’s super PAC blindsided us with a $18 million ad blitz to try to deceive voters about this race. Now, CNN is projecting that Maryland is one of the Senate seats most likely to flip red, with the GOP now outspending us 2 to 1 in the race that The New York Times is reporting will decide control of the Senate.
So we need to set the record straight about Hogan, which is why we’ve set a $500,000 fundraising goal before the official FEC deadline tonight.
But I just took a look at our ActBlue, and we’re way behind where we should be at this point. We need to raise at least another $15,459 before midnight to reach our goal.
Can I count on you to split a grassroots donation of $5 between my campaign and Catherine Cortez Masto's before the 11:59 P.M. deadline tonight? If everyone reading this email chipped in before closing out, we could put ourselves back on track to hit this benchmark before midnight.

If you’ve been waiting for the moment to give so that your donation has the biggest impact on this race – this is it. Please, split a $5 donation between my campaign and Catherine Cortez Masto's so we can scale up our voter mobilization efforts, take the lead in the polls, and save our Democratic Senate majority.

This is a critical moment in our race. I hope I can count on your support.
Together,
Angela Alsobrooks
