We know this is a huge election year and so much is at stake. One race that has much of my attention and energy is for my close friend, Ryan Mello – running to be our next Pierce County Executive. Ryan and I began working closely together in 2004. Ryan was my very first campaign manager, and together, we beat the extremely conservative Lois McMahan to win a seat in the State House.

Ryan knows firsthand the hard work and sacrifice that goes into running a winning campaign – and to serving our community. Like me, Ryan is focused on ensuring we have safe places to live, economic opportunities for everyone, and a healthy planet to leave to our kids.
