The Taliban’s mafia-like rule uncovered
Innocent Afghans – especially women and children – are suffering under the Taliban. And as the Afghan people see their basic rights stripped away, Taliban leaders have the freedom to travel abroad to seek medical treatment and attend meetings – thanks in part to frequent travel ban exemptions approved by the U.N.

There is a path forward. The Bush Institute released recommendations for the United States and its allies to stop the Taliban’s corruption and human rights abuses.
