Send 5X the relief to children in crisis >>
Friend, here’s an urgent update on the crisis in Lebanon:
Since we last reached out about this emergency, over 200,000 people — many of whom were already refugees — have been displaced following a surge of deadly attacks. More than 50 children have been killed and thousands of families continue to flee for safety as violence escalates. Hospitals in Lebanon are overstretched and facing severe shortages of medical supplies.
Children in Lebanon need lifesaving support and every minute counts. Can you help?
UNICEF is acting fast to rush emergency relief to children and families in Lebanon and across the Middle East. Give now, and your support will be 5X matched to scale UNICEF’s response to the crisis in Lebanon and so many others around the world >>
Thank you,

Hospitals across Lebanon are overstretched following a surge of deadly attacks and children are at risk.
UNICEF has dispatched lifesaving medical supplies to hospitals facing severe shortages — but more supplies are needed. A new wave of displacement has begun, forcing families from areas in the south of Lebanon and the Bekaa to leave their homes. Immediate needs include mattresses, hygiene kits, food and water.

Super Typhoon Yagi, the strongest storm to hit Vietnam in 30 years,
has caused widespread damage to infrastructure, homes, schools and water systems and left 400,000 households without access to safe water. UNICEF and partners are delivering emergency water supplies to households, hospitals, health facilities and schools.

Famine has been confirmed in a camp sheltering hundreds of thousands of displaced people in North Darfur,
Sudan as a result of the catastrophic combination of conflict, displacement and humanitarian access constraints. Ongoing disease outbreaks such as cholera and polio, as well as lack of access to safe drinking water, are threatening children’s lives. UNICEF is deploying massive vaccination campaigns and emergency supplies.
