Since the deeply flawed measure went into effect, Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer (OR-05) has criticized her state's infamous Measure 110, which decriminalized most controlled substances, including fentanyl.
Her campaign launched a new ad featuring local law enforcement officials who praise her work to overturn it and make Oregon communities safer.
Her opponent, liberal State Rep. Janelle Bynum, is a soft-on-crime Democrat who supported Measure 110. In the legislature, Bynum introduced extreme legislation backed by defund-the-police activists, which stands in stark contrast to Chavez-DeRemer's support for law enforcement.
