Pennsylvania Groups Ask Supreme Court To Decide Undated Mail-in Ballots Case

Pennsylvania pro-voter organizations ask the U.S. Supreme Court to rule on whether rejecting timely returned mail-in ballots with date issues violates the Civil Rights Act. Another, similar case is also pending before the state Supreme Court.

Over the past few years, at least 12 lawsuits ([link removed]) in both state and federal courts have involved disputes over the battleground state’s controversial handwritten date requirement, which resulted in the disqualification of over 10,000 mail-in ballots during the 2022 midterm elections alone.
