From a young age, watching my mother face incredible challenges as she fought to make a life for us shaped my commitment to fighting for justice and being the voice for the most vulnerable in our community.

Right now, across the country, the opposition is working tirelessly to roll back the clock on reproductive rights. We've seen states pass dangerous restrictions on abortion, stripping away women's fundamental rights. And while abortion is still legal here in Maryland, our right to reproductive freedom is not guaranteed.

By voting YES on Question 1 this November, we can protect the right to choose and enshrine it in our state constitution. This isn't just about defending a law—it’s about making sure that no future legislature or political whim can strip away a woman’s right to make decisions about her own body.
